Maui & O'ahu, Hawai'i
Creating
impactful
change.
We are creative, strategic thinkers who empower individuals and agencies to improve themselves and their communities through comprehensive, action focused, time bound plans.
Rooted in the islands. Dedicated to those who serve.
We listen, grow, and change alongside the communities we serve.
ChangeWorks, LLC is a consultancy built on deep community roots across Maui and O'ahu. Our team of experienced consultants embodies a commitment to community improvement, not just organizationally, but on an individual level. We partner with nonprofits, public sector agencies, and social entrepreneurs to strengthen the organizations that form Hawai'i's safety net, because we believe that when those organizations thrive, our most vulnerable neighbors do too.
What We Do
Comprehensive, action focused plans that align your team around a shared vision and a clear path forward, with accountability built in.
Creative funding strategies and compelling grant narratives that secure the resources your mission requires, with ongoing grant reporting support.
One on one mentoring and coaching for executives navigating complex organizational challenges, transitions, and growth moments.
Expert guidance on program design, CARF accreditation, clinical supervision, and best practices for agencies serving individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders.
Customized trainings, supervision structures, and development programs that build confident, skilled teams capable of handling difficult situations with grace.
Design new programs from the ground up, or assess and strengthen existing ones, with a focus on outcomes that matter to your community and your funders.
Board training, recruitment strategy, and governance frameworks that strengthen accountability and align board leadership with organizational mission.
Thoughtful support through leadership transitions, including interim leadership, to ensure continuity, stability, and a strong foundation for what comes next.
Skilled, neutral facilitation to navigate team conflict, organizational tension, and relationship repair, with a calm, direct, and kind approach.
Our Approach
We don't parachute in with pre packaged solutions. We take the time to truly understand your agency, its history, its people, its strengths, and its tensions. Then we work alongside you to find the most meaningful ways to leverage what you already have to create greater mission impact.
Our philosophy: become part of your team, not just a vendor. That's how lasting change happens.
We immerse ourselves in your organization, understanding your mission, your people, your community, and the specific challenges you're navigating.
Together, we build a comprehensive, action focused, time bound plan that draws on your existing strengths and points clearly toward your goals.
We stay with you through implementation, providing hands on guidance, removing obstacles, and adjusting course as you learn what works.
Our goal is to leave your team stronger and more confident than when we arrived, equipped to sustain the change long after our engagement ends.
